Minnie, January 2018

Beautiful Minnie came to Loudoun County Animal Services as a stray.  She's very striking, with her dilute coloring and gorgeous eyes, but what's even more noticeable about her is that she has four legs...but only three feet.

No one knows how she lost her left, hind foot, but what we do know is that it's causing her pain. She has been evaluated by a veterinarian, and is currently on a pain management program. Her discomfort is not a problem that will resolve itself; the vet and shelter wellness staff agree that for her to live a pain free life, that leg needs to be amputated.

The Friends of LCAS has committed to helping the shelter get that surgery for Minnie, and we need your help.  Please donate towards the cost of this surgery.  Your gift is tax deductible, and will allow Minnie to get on with life and leave the pain and trauma behind her.
